The  Process

  1. Design Consultation:  Brainstorming collaboratively, we have a conversation to develop the ideas that will come together to form the basis for the design.
  2. Initial Bid:  I present you with an estimate of the total cost of the project.  This estimate is subject to change based upon the final design approval.
  3. Design Approval:  I create a drawing, or series of drawings, based on the Design Consultation and present them to you for final approval.
  4. Final Bid:  Once the design has been approved, I present you with the Final Bid for approval.   This bid is a hard bid and will not go up for any reason.
  5. Scheduling: We work together to agree upon a date which will work for both of us to begin.  Generally, this is 2-6 weeks from approval of the Final Bid.
  6. Site Preparation:  I’ll do all of the site preparation once you have removed any furniture from the room which might limit access to the painting surfaces.
  7. Painting Materials:  I provide all of the materials we’ll need, so all I’ll need from you is access to a sink to get water for my brushes.
  8. Completed Work:  Most projects take between 15-30 hours so it’s usually possible to go start to finish in one week.  I generally work between the hours of 8:00-5:00, but I am flexible with my schedule and can work with you for special schedule requests.
  9. Site clean-up:  I’m responsible for everything here.  The working materials will be removed and work site will be cleaned to the state in which it was found.
