The Process
- Design Consultation: Brainstorming collaboratively, we have a conversation to develop the ideas that will come together to form the basis for the design.
- Initial Bid: I present you with an estimate of the total cost of the project. This estimate is subject to change based upon the final design approval.
- Design Approval: I create a drawing, or series of drawings, based on the Design Consultation and present them to you for final approval.
- Final Bid: Once the design has been approved, I present you with the Final Bid for approval. This bid is a hard bid and will not go up for any reason.
- Scheduling: We work together to agree upon a date which will work for both of us to begin. Generally, this is 2-6 weeks from approval of the Final Bid.
- Site Preparation: I’ll do all of the site preparation once you have removed any furniture from the room which might limit access to the painting surfaces.
- Painting Materials: I provide all of the materials we’ll need, so all I’ll need from you is access to a sink to get water for my brushes.
- Completed Work: Most projects take between 15-30 hours so it’s usually possible to go start to finish in one week. I generally work between the hours of 8:00-5:00, but I am flexible with my schedule and can work with you for special schedule requests.
- Site clean-up: I’m responsible for everything here. The working materials will be removed and work site will be cleaned to the state in which it was found.
